two teeth! September 6, 2010

Lily got her first two teeth at the same time.  Her two bottom teeth came in without too much fussing.  She was a little crabby the week before – but then all of a sudden there were two rigid teeth popping through.  They are finally big enough that she plays with them with her tongue and we can see them when she opens her mouth.  She isn’t truly crawling yet, but she has the army crawl down, and she can make her way across the room.  She likes to clap and say one syllable sounds, ma ma ma, da da da, la la la… etc.  We pretend she calls for us. She is starting to eat table food and can feed herself cereal… some of the time.

Lily is getting big fast – I know she is in the 17lb range, no idea of her height.  It is hard to get the Micky picture because she wants to bolt and play with something more interesting.

We went to Chicago to go visit Lily’s Great Grandma and other family.  She did a great job in the car and was the life of the party showing off her smile.  Over labor day weekend day care was closed so Michelle spent the day with Lily.  During this weekend we discovered that Lily loves the swing at the park.  The picture below is her mid squeal.  I’m attempting to make up for the lack of postings by making this one picture heavy.  They are a smattering of the past month of Lily hanging out, goofing off and being cute.
