Lots of Fall Fun November 1, 2010

Yes it has been 2 months since our last post.  We have a few excuses that I hope you will all understand.  First is that Lily is mobile.  Enough said.  She is busy crawling around getting into everything, including chasing cats and pulling up on anything her little hands can hold onto.  The other reason is we have been doing some traveling so that has eaten away at our free time as well.

As of this week Lily is 10 months old, she weighs over 19 pounds, can crawl, is beginning to move from one piece of furniture to another, she has 3 teeth total, she got her top right 2nd tooth a few weeks ago, and the remaining 3 top teeth are close behind.  She likes to eat table food and join us at meals and she loves to dance and go out to lunch!

The pictures below are a little taste of what we have been up to:  Lily is no longer cooperative enough to lay down to be compared to Mickey, but they are friends and she likes to hang out with him.  I have failed to remember to take a 10 month picture…. sorry.  Her hair on the top part of her head is getting very long and sometimes Lily comes home with a pony tail from day care, and I think it is too cute!  (Eventually I will learn how to do my own daughters hair).  We recently went to Iowa to visit Scott’s brother and his wife in their new home, and also visit with Lily’s Grandma and Grandpa who came down from Wisconsin to visit as well.  We went to a farm that had pumpkins and we had a blast.  While at Marc and Amy’s house Lily decided Gizmo (their dog) was a fun playmate.

Last but not least Lily was a flower for Halloween.  She was pretty cooperative with wearing the costume, but I don’t think she was very happy.  She was absolutely adorable!  We trick-or-treated at a few neighbors houses and she liked showing off her costume.
